… I met Devin Robinson
professionally in 2004 when he came to Kean High to speak to the
freshman class. Ninth graders pose the greatest challenges to any
administrator. This is a transition year for them. Ninth grade is
where we lose the greatest numbers and also have the lowest retention
rate coupled with discipline referrals. Devin Robinson faced these
(200+) young people and held them captivated for two hours. I
questioned his methods and found that once in conversation with
him…Devin is a highly intelligent young man who is graced with excellent
interpersonal skills that enhance his firm commitment to motivating and
helping young people!
